BS in Electrical Engineering,
Moore School of Electrical Engineering
The transition from home in suburban Northern Virginia to college in urban Philadelphia was a difficult one for me. High School was easy - too easy, and I was not prepared for the rigors of an engineering curriculum. It took me a while to adjust, but eventually, I understood what was required of me and I made it through.
I took electives in extremely challenging classes such as graduate-level physics classes in quantum mechanics instead of classes that might provide me with an "easy A" because they interested me, and it's not the kind of subject that you can really pick up on your own. At least that's what I thought at the time.
Yes, college was hard. But that made graduation all the sweeter.
